Are you passionate about the power of peer support during pregnancy, birth and beyond?

An exciting new opportunity is available for an experienced and innovative midwife to join Parents 1st on a consultancy basis. If you believe in early prevention and informal peer-to-peer support in the community, you can be part of our inspiring team - we would love to hear from you.

Parents 1st is a unique organisation and our focus on perinatal support distinguishes us from others. We are proud of our Pregnancy Pal and Birth Buddy programmes which showcase our track record in achieving externally evaluated outcomes in attracting, retaining and training high calibre volunteer supporters from local communities. The volunteer peer supporters frequently say the experience has “changed my life”.

This new post offers an ideal opportunity to work alongside a new Chief Executive to develop and deliver high quality income generating workshops and other services to help sustain the programme.
