Well done to all of our volunteers who were recently presented with their certificates for completing City and Guilds Award in Work With Parents, Open College Network (OCN) Breastfeeding Support and Child Safeguarding qualifications. They appeared in the local newspaper.

Parents 1st are delighted to announce that we have won the Bonus Award from the People’s Millions competition!

This means £60,000 to expand the Pregnancy Pals and Birth Buddies Programme to East Basildon!!

Jubilee People’s Millions

We are delighted to announce that our Pregnancy Pals and Birth Buddies programme has been shortlisted in the final of the Jubilee People’s Millions competition and are in with a chance to win £60,000! This would enable us to continue our fantastic work throughout the whole of Basildon.

We went head to head last night on the ITV regional news with another finalist – 29th June 2011. Watch again tonight where the winner will be announced! There is also a runners up prize. So fingers crossed.
